Tom was invited by the Global CEO of Interbrand, the world´s largest branding agency, and the Asian Chairman of Omnicom, a leading global advertising and marketing communications services company, to sit down with CMOs and CEOs of some of the Best Global Brands to discuss the future of communication, creativity, marketing, innovation, and how to win the Millennial Generation for your products and services.
Serge Dumont, Asian Chairman of Omnicom, invited Tom to meet SY Lau, CEO of Tencent Online Media Group (pictured above). Tencent OMG is one of the largest media companies in the world and Tencent is the largest internet service provider in Asia with a market capitalization of 200 billion dollars in 2015. It not only owns China’s most-used internet portal, but is the fifth biggest publicly traded internet company in the world on a revenue basis, behind only Amazon, Google, eBay and Facebook.
Tom and SY Lau, CEO of Tencent OMG, were discussing how to build OMG into a world class media company by providing one-stop holistic lifestyle services to consumers, especially the Millennial Generation and the consumers below 30.
